Perseus Karlström organized Sweden's first World Cup medal on the men's side during the championship in Doha. But the Eskilstuna walk was not finished with this year's success season there.

After winning the final stage - Karlström also won the first two - during the closing mini-tour of the World Cup in China, the 29-year-old can also claim the winner of the overall World Cup, writes Siv Karlström, who is also the mother of Perseus, in a text message to TT.

"Great," she writes.

Perseus Karlström, who finished eighth in the total last year, was in second place before the mini-tour but passed the Japanese Toshikazu Yamanishi, who did not participate in China, to the top.
