Six years ago, the club's women's team merged with Bollen, but FFF continued with girls soccer. However, it has now been decided to re-invest in women's soccer at senior level.

- This feels fun and above all important. As the municipality's most established association with a large and broad business, we must of course offer both men's and women's soccer. For me, this is a very important matter of principle and I am proud that we are now investing in women's football again, ”says Falkenberg chairman Patrik Hannell.

The club is now looking for players and the person to lead the work is Fredrik Wisén.

"The reason for this initiative on the part of FFF is that we want to develop and motivate young girls and women in their football careers while offering A-team football for more local players," he told the club's website.
