This past season Sundström drove for the Pirates, Polish Rybnik and VIP in the Allsvenskan. So a month ago he crashed, but the forecast is that he will be able to run as the next season starts.
- Getting the chance to work with Linus at club level should be very interesting as we have competed together during the national team and I know how focused and professional he is in everything he does, says sports manager Morgan Andersson.
Sundström also looks forward to driving for Västervik.
- Getting to represent Västervik speedway 2020 and 2021 feels incredibly exciting and motivating. After a few tough seasons, I'm sure both the club, the course, the team and my new teammates will give me a push in the right direction to come back up to the capacity I know I possess, he says.
