Wout Weghorst assisted VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday with a goal of a 1-1 draw on a visit to RB Leipzig. Bayern Munich handed the victory in injury time to FC Augsburg: 2-2.
27-year-old Weghorst signed the equalizer of Wolfsburg against Leipzig eight minutes before time. The striker tapped in a cross from William and made his fifth league goal of the season.
Wolfsburg fell behind early in the second half due to a goal by Timo Werner. Weghorst and Jeffrey Bruma played the entire game for 'Die Wölfe', who are second with sixteen points from eight matches.
Leader Borussia Mönchengladbach has the same number of points as Wolfsburg, but that team will play against its home crowd against Borussia Dortmund later on Saturday.

Finnbogason causes Bayern to lose points
In the WWK Arena, Bayern Munich fell behind Augsburg after one minute due to a goal from Marco Richter. Robert Lewandowski restored the balance after fifteen minutes and Serge Gnabry gave the visitors the lead just after the break.
Bayern seemed to be on his way to victory, but still gave the three points in his hands. Former sc Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason delivered Augsburg, with Jeffrey Gouweleeuw remaining on the bench, a point in injury time.
With a win, Bayern had at least taken the lead for a few hours from Borussia Mönchengladbach. Due to the draw, 'Der Rekordmeister' remains third with fifteen points.

Klaassen draws a draw with Werder
SC Freiburg also missed an opportunity to take the lead. The southern German formation lost 2-0 to PhD student, who booked his second competitive victory of the season.
Davy Klaassen and Werder Bremen had to settle for a home crowd with a 1-1 draw against Hertha BSC. Klaassen filled the ninety minutes with the home team and with Hertha, Karim Rekik participated throughout the game and Javairô Dilrosun was replaced ten minutes after the break.
At the bottom, Jean-Paul Boëtius and Jeremiah St. Juste fell with FSV Mainz 05 at Fortuna Düsseldorf: 1-0. The two Dutchmen played the entire game with the visitors.
