The Formula 1 teams have agreed to allow the Toro Rosso team, owned by Red Bull, to compete under the new name of Alpha Tauri from next season, after an email vote.

Alpha Tauri is a fashion brand that also belongs to the Austrian energy drinks company. The 'Scuderia Toro Rosso', Italian translation of 'Red Bull Team', ran like Minardi until it changed ownership in 2005.

His greatest success dates from 2008, when Sebastian Vettel won his only victory in Monza, an exception in which the team driven by Ferrari beat the factory team. The Spanish drivers Jaime Alguersuari (2009-11) and Carlos Sainz (2015-17) competed passed Toro Rosso at the time.
