Rögle has started the season brilliantly, and topped the series for tonight's game.

But against Färjestad, they were never close to winning. The home team put on full speed right away, and it was clearly better team entering the start of the match.

Rögle reduced

Even after the first period, it felt pretty settled, as the team had a 3-0 lead.

Rögle then played himself, and scored a goal in the second period.

Three simple points

But in the third period it was only 28 seconds before Per Åslund made 4-1.

In the end it was 5–3, and three relatively safe points.

Nice 5–1

Big match winners were the series points kings Michael Lindqvist and Marcus Nilsson, who were behind two goals.

The other, which meant 5-1, was really neat. In game five against four, Nilsson (points leader with 4 goals and 13 assists) got the puck down in the right corner. He played obliquely forward to Lindqvist, who coolly pulled the goalkeeper Roman Will and set his second goal of the evening. The goal was his eighth for the season, which now leads the series goal-oriented, and is second in the points league.

Rögle reduced twice again at the end of the match, but could never seriously threaten Färjestad.
