Gymnastics Kohei Uchimura decided to start a new tournament in March next year and participate in this tournament for the purpose of coordinating with the Tokyo Olympics representative selection. It is unusual for an active player to set up a tournament, and in the future we plan to consult with young players.

Uchimura, who won the second consecutive Olympic overall, was not selected as a representative of the World Championship due to injury.

Uchimura was aiming to participate in the “Personal Comprehensive Super Final” in which the top players from Japan gathered next month with the recommendation of the Japan Gymnastics Association's strengthening headquarters. There was no place to fight until the All Japan Championship.

Since the All Japan Championship has been one of the representative selections in the Olympics so far, Uchimura has newly established a personal competition for the All Japan Championship in March next year. I decided to participate.

The tournament will be held in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture on a one-day schedule, and 12 players including Uchimura will participate.

It is unusual for active players to set up such a tournament, and in the future, we plan to consult with young players.
