At the professional baseball draft meeting held on the 17th, Chunichi announced that it would nominate the local Aichi Toho High School player Ishikawa Saya.
On September 16th, director Yoda Yoda and others attended a scout meeting for about 2.5 hours in Tokyo.
After the meeting, Director Yoda announced that Ishikawa would be named first in response to news reports.
Ishikawa is a right-handed large infielder who marked 55 home runs at Toho High School.
In the spring of Sembatsu, he served as captain of the ace, leading to his first victory in 30 years, including two home runs in the final.
Yoda said, “I am a batter with the right long hitting power, so I want to make it a team that can hit Neo and Ishikawa in the future.”
