Ferjestad had a difficult starting position for tonight's breeding at the CHL group game.

The team was set against the already clear team winner Munich, and was forced to take at least two points to be confident of advancement to the eighth finals.

Clap-clap-goal

But the start of the match was not what the team had hoped for. Because it was the guests from Germany who took the lead, just before the first period was halfway, who neatly clapped-clapped-played through Färestad's zone and put 1-0.

The management stood out for the period, and was fair. Munich created several good chances, but were therefore unable to score any further goals, largely thanks to a magnificent Markus Svensson in the FBK goal.

- Markus Svensson makes a huge match. He made the saves that gave Färjestad the chance to win the match, says SVT Sports expert Jonas Andersson.

Tangled 2–1

In the second period, they turned to 2-1. First by having Victor Ejdsell completely unharmed to go up from the blue and aim himself and then be able to sharpen the receipt, and then by Jonathon Blum in a tangled situation in front of goal could put 2-1.

In the third period, Färjestad focused mainly on the defense game, and also managed to put 3-1 in with just over four and a half minutes left to play - in a neat way. Marcus Nilsson passed the puck from his own zone to Gustav Rydahl who was completely free and deliciously put 3-1.

"Very distinct, he's red-hot," Andersson said after Rydahl's conclusion.

"No doubt"

Thus, with the victory, Färjestad's advance to the eighth quarter is secured.

- Our goal has been to advance from the group play. Now we have done that and of course we are happy, says Färjestads coach Johan Pennerborn.
