Michel Vorm returns immediately to Tottenham Hotspur. The experienced goalkeeper signed a contract for the rest of the season with the Londoners on Monday.
The transfer of Vorm is the result of the severe injury of first goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. The Frenchman recently suffered a serious injury to his elbow and is unable to take action this calendar year.
Vorm was already under contract with Tottenham between 2014 and last summer. The 35-year-old keeper was unable to find a new club after leaving London, so the 'Spurs' can now easily get him back.
Tottenham took Form more than 5 million euros from Swansea City more than five years ago. The fifteen-time Oranje-international, which was previously under the bar of FC Utrecht and FC Den Bosch in its career, held 47 league games for the 'Spurs' in five seasons.
Form must now compete with Paulo Gazzaniga, although it seems that the Argentinian will be Tottenham's first goalkeeper due to the injury of Lloris.
The team of manager Mauricio Pochettino is still experiencing a disappointing season. Tottenham occupies ninth place in the Premier League and is already thirteen points behind leader Liverpool. The losing Champions League finalist of last season continues the league at home against Watford on Saturday.
