A ruling that has been appealed to Cas by the International Anti-Doping Agency Wada.

The hearing, which according to the Chinese wishes to be held open doors, would actually have taken place in August, but was moved forward at the request of both parties. The date is now set for November 15 in Montreux, Switzerland.

This is the second time in history that a hearing before Cas is open to the public.

Sun Yang, who had previously been suspended for doping, was subjected to protests from his competitors during the World Cup in South Korea this summer who did not want to share the podium with him. Sun Yang took two golds in the World Cup this summer, at 200 and 400 meters freely.
