Al Wasl coach Roman Lorient Regicamp said he is not afraid of dismissal from Al Wasl training following the team's modest results, the last of which was the heavy loss suffered by the team yesterday against Sharjah with four clean goals in the Arabian Gulf Football Cup matches. He thinks about these things, stressing that he is trying to equip his team better to face Sharjah again on the 19th of this month but in the Arabian Gulf League, describing the next match between the two teams as it will be different as it is against a dangerous team like Sharjah.

"I am not afraid and this is my job and we are trying to work harder to convey the positive feeling to the players," Rigikamp said at the post-match news conference when asked if he feared the dismissal of Al Wasl as the team's results dropped.

Al Wasl coach stressed that the team is going through a difficult phase.

"Sharjah was better than Al Wasl and there were big mistakes for Al Wasl during the game," Rijeikamp said of Al Wasl's 4-0 defeat to Sharjah.

Al Wasl are second from bottom in the Arabian Gulf League with just one point.
