If Lars Lagerbäck manages to take Norway to the European final, it will probably be the last 71-year-old doing as the national team for the Norwegian national team. The contract expires after the summer.

The Norwegian Football Association is set to find a replacement, but has not yet contacted any candidates.

If Joshua King, in everyday life in Bournemouth, decides he prefers to see the Swede continue to base the team.

- On the day he ends he will get a hug from me. I have great respect for him as a person and a coach. If he stops, he probably has a reason for it. If I get what I want, I hope he gets to play an European Cup final with Norway, King tells NRK.

Lagerbäck himself is beginning to see the end.

- I've been trying to end for about seven years now. It is fun if the players want to keep me, and it is a fantastic nice bunch that is going on. But at least I try to realize that I am old now, he says.
