FIFA president Gianni Infantino expects Qatar to host an unforgettable World Cup in 2022.
The FIFA president believes that the World Cup between November and December 2022 will be in the interest of the tournament and the players.
"Technically it will be an amazing tournament, because the players will arrive in a state of relaxation because of the timing of the tournament," Infantino was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"This is better than going into the tournament after a tough season when the tournament is held in the summer."
"All the tournament matches will be played in 70 kilometers, which is positive," Infantino said.
"It will be an extraordinary tournament and we will discover a part of the world that we didn't all know."
"I am convinced that the stadiums will be full of fans, and it only takes five or six hours to travel from Europe," he said.
