J-League Cup semi-final Kawasaki and Osaka win the first round on October 9 at 23:03

One of the three major domestic football titles, the J League Cup was played in two home-and-away semi-finals, and Kawasaki Frontale and Gamba Osaka both won the first match at home.

Frontale aiming for the first victory won Kashima Antlers 3 to 1 at home.

The first frontal was caught up with the goal of Hidemasa Morita and finished the first half. In the latter half of the 37th minute, Yasuaki Wakisaka won the game and scored 3 to 1 with additional points.

Aiming for the third championship, Gamba won Consadole Sapporo 2: 1.

Gamba prevailed in the second half 29 minutes with Takashi Usami's penalty kick and was tied in the 42nd minute, but Akira Kurata scored the final goal just before the end.

Round 2 will take place on the 13th of this month.
