The organizing committee of the “Sheikha Hind Women's Sports Games” has intensified its preparations for the launch of the seventh edition, which is organized by the Women and Sports Committee at the Dubai Sports Council under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, under the direction of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, will start next Saturday and will continue until 26th of this month.

The organizing committee held a coordination meeting chaired by a member of the Board of Directors of Dubai Sports Council and Chairman of the Committee on Women and Sports of the Council, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the session, Lamia Khan, and the presence of the Director of Women's Sport Development Section Director, Fawzia Fareedoun, in addition to members of the Committee, during the meeting discussed the latest organizational preparations At the various venues of the 10 individual and group sports tournaments included in the tournament.

The organizing committee announced the date of the draw, which will be held at 1 pm tomorrow, at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council, in the presence of coordinators and a number of female players from the participating institutions, and the Federation of collective games included in the seventh edition of the tournament.

The tournament includes 10 individual and group sports: basketball, volleyball, bowling, road racing, swimming, bicycling, badminton, chess, and two new games that have been added to the tournament this year, the Crossfit and Challenge Games.

During the meeting, they reviewed the reports of the technical, organizational and media committees, which included a detailed all aspects of organization and statistics, logistics preparations and the readiness of the stadiums to receive participants from various governmental, semi-governmental and private institutions, and reviewed the mechanism of work and plans to be worked on during the course of the session.

The organizing committee also held meetings with the national institutions supporting the course, most notably Dubai Police, Dubai Events Insurance Committee, Dubai Ambulance Services Corporation and Dubai Municipality, to discuss plans to secure competitions from all aspects of security and health, to achieve the highest success rates in all organizational aspects.

Teams from governmental, semi-governmental and private institutions participating in the seventh edition of the tournament continue to intensify their preparations to participate through daily training and physical and psychological rehabilitation to compete in a high spirit to win titles.
