With both Caroline Seger and Elin Rubensson injured, much of the focus was on how Kosovare Asllani would make the midfield work in tonight's match. And at first it looked a little sluggish for the midfield shadow and the other Swedish team.

Tacón's club mate, Sofia Jakobsson, was noticeably frustrated by the pace of the game and waved his arms at his teammates.

But then came the icing. Asllani, with the help of Maria Korenciova in the Slovak goal, screwed the ball directly into the corner.

Swedish domination

The same Asllani was soon back and served Lina Hurtig who after a good run could put the extension. And as if that wasn't enough, Linda Sembrandt was able to put up 3-0 - not even nine minutes after her first hit.

Asllani was also behind the 5-0 goal when she sent a post that Stina Blackstenius could nod.

Sweden dominated the match completely and eventually won 7-0, with five different goal scorers.
