1. Malmö FF, 59 (49-14, +35 in goal difference)

Remaining matches: Hammarby (b), AIK (h), Örebro (b)

Comment: Malmö took over the series lead (on goal difference) after an end goal victory against Gothenburg. Since the loss to Djurgården, the Scouts have shown great masterpieces, six straight wins and zero goals scored. But Malmö probably has the toughest game schedule of the last three matches among the top competitors and will have to bet by both Hammarby and AIK before an easier opposition on paper, Örebro, waits in the final round. In addition to the all-Swedish gold match, Malmö is the only team with European games in the calendar and there is Lugano, a match played between the matches against Hammarby and AIK.

2. Djurgården, 59 (47-17, +30 in goal difference)

Remaining matches: Gothenburg (b), Örebro (h), Norrköping (b)

Comment: The Derby loss to Hammarby was a severe blow to the golden-haired ambitions. Djurgården has four losses this year, all of them against the Stockholm rivals. Next, a away game awaits an IFK Gothenburg without anything major to play for in addition to the honor. Can Djurgården bounce back? The series two will probably be dependent on a point loss from Malmö and will probably need to go clean in the final rounds to salvage the first gold since 2005.

3. Hammarby, 56 (67-36, +31 in goal difference)

Remaining matches: Malmö (h), Östersund (b), Häcken (h)

Comment: With two derby wins, Hammarby has sailed up like a dark horse in the gold fight. Bajen has a tough match against Malmö closest, a match that can be directly decisive for the gold fight. A win where Hammarby acquires a real battle to take home Lennart Johansson's trophy. The last two matches against a crucial Östersund and a suspended Häcken should mean two final victories for the Söder team.

4. AIK, 56 (40-20, +20 in goal difference)

Remaining matches: Falkenberg (b), Malmö (b), Sundsvall (h)

The reigning champions have a difficult game schedule with two matches against teams that are fighting for their Swedish existence and then a terribly strong Malmö. AIK's games have chopped a bit lately and the derby loss to Hammarby was a blow to Gnaget's face in the hunt for a gold. But if AIK succeeds in beating Malmö, the conditions for the gold struggle can change.
