National coach Ronald Koeman of the Dutch national team has to cope with injuries without Davy Pröpper and Jeroen Zoet in the European Championship qualifying matches with Northern Ireland and Belarus.
Ajax defender Sergiño Dest and PSV playmaker Mohamed Ihattaren, who still have doubts between the Netherlands and the United States and Morocco respectively, are not included in the selection. Both talents do not yet want to make a definitive choice about their international career
The Dutch national team continues the European Championship qualification next Thursday with a home game against Northern Ireland in De Kuip (kick-off at 8.45 pm). Three days later, a match with Belarus will take place at the Dinamo Stadium in Minsk (kick-off at 6 pm).
The team of Koeman, which won victories in Germany (2-4) and Estonia (0-4) in the previous international match period, currently occupies third place in group C with nine points. The number one and two in the group directly qualify for next summer's European Championship, which is being held in twelve different countries.
Due to the performance in the Nations League, the Orange squad still has the play-offs as a safety net, should it not be possible to finish first or second in the European Championship qualifying pool.
