- I am relieved that the Swedish Figure Skating Association and the Association Solna Figure Skating take the misconduct seriously this time, and do an external investigation, says Selma Ihr, formerly active in the club concerned with SVT Sport.

Several riders have testified about weight, swelling and harmful training at the club. The coach selected is well-credited and was active in the club until the suspension came into effect on Thursday.

"Should not stay in the sport"

- My hope is that it will result in a better training environment for figure skaters, and that coaches who do not live up to the value base in Swedish figure skating may not remain in the sport, says Selma Ihr to SVT Sport.

Selma Ihr is one of the country's most promising figure skaters and is one of six figure skaters who have left the club for the past four years. Your parents made a report in mid-September to the club, the Stockholm Figure Skating Association and the Swedish Figure Skating Association.

"Necessary decision"

Finally, the National Sports Federation, via the figure skating association, recommended the club to act.

- It felt like a necessary decision. If RF makes recommendations, via the union, then we take it very seriously, says club chairman Maria Telliskivi to DN.
