Umeå is the reigning champion who after four straight silver was finally allowed to celebrate an SM gold this spring. The five previous seasons, the country's best basketball team has come from Luleå.
For Umeå, it is the league premiere, while Luleå won his premiere last week at home against Mark. Umeå will try to defend a gold and Luleå is looking for revenge after last season's failure as the team went out in the quarterfinals already.
At the preliminary meeting before the start of the season, nine of eleven coaches tipped that Luleå wins the SM gold 2019/20.
