OGC Nice fired Lamine Diaby-Fadiga immediately on Tuesday. The eighteen-year-old attacker confessed that he had stolen a watch from teammate Kasper Dolberg.

Diaby-Fadiga stole the timepiece of the former Ajax player - reportedly worth 70,000 euros - ten days ago from the dressing room of the French team. Dolberg reported and images from a security camera showed that his teammate was the perpetrator.

"OGC Nice cannot accept this behavior, we cannot ignore such events," the French club said on its website.

"This is about credibility and mutual trust between all employees and all members of the red-black family."

Diaby-Fadiga probably to Paris FC

Diaby-Fadiga played for Nice since 2014 and played as a youth international for France under 16, under 17 and under 18. At Nice the talent played mainly in the second team, last season he was allowed to participate six times with the main force.

According to French media, the attacker is about to sign at Ligue 2-club Paris FC.

Last year, 21-year-old Dolberg exchanged Ajax for Nice, which paid 20.5 million for the Danish striker. Dolberg scored two hits in his first four league matches.
