Last week, Malmö FF had a member meeting and presented the plans to take over LB07's women's team and have two all-Swedish teams in the club's name next year. MFF is prepared to push for large financial resources.

Next year, the budget will be SEK 8 million, to increase each year until 2024, when it will be SEK 17 million for the intended women's team. Normally, a damall Swedish budget is between SEK 2.5 and 4 million.

The issue of a merger is to be decided at an extra annual meeting in November or December.

Yesterday, LB07 held a member meeting, but no questions were about the women's team, but about youth football, according to Sydsvenskan. MFF CEO Niclas Carlnén was present at the meeting and answered questions ahead of a possible merger.

"We should not be fooled into thinking that everything will be easy"

- We should not be fooled into thinking that everything will be easy if we make this decision. It's about culture and values. How we have worked and what we stand for and how do we want to change. It will be a long process, Carlén tells Sydsvenskan.

Malmö FF's supporter association MFF Support is strongly critical to a teaming with LB07.

With three laps remaining, Limhamn Bunkeflo is in tenth place in the damall swan on safe ground to stay. The zoo at the relocation site is four points behind.
