The cross band was smoking in Cardrona, New Zealand when she broke her left knee after a training jump. A tough blow for the youngest Olympic Swede of all time with a World Cup title and double X-Games medals.

"I was expecting the worst, but it was still almost a shock," she said 4.5 months after the accident.

Now she's finally back on snow. After a week training camp in Swiss Saas-Fee

- It's great fun she's back. She is capable of holding back, despite many others running out a lot of hope they do on instagram. Many people forget that you have to get back on snow, it does not help that you have worked well in the gym. At the end of the week, she started jumping again, making 360 and driving some rails, says Niklas Eriksson.

It is not yet decided when it is time for Burmansson again. The 17-year-old stands over the VC premiere November 21-23 and the plan is to hurry slowly and not rush to nail a date.

- We haven't come that far yet. It's all about finding the feeling of snow. She is well on her way back now. There is a big air competition in November in Italy where she does not run due to scaffolding and artificial snow. It wouldn't be the best comeback. Then she will take part in a sloop style competition in Austrian Stubai where she will run the track, but refrain from competing, says Niklas Eriksson.
