Just days after the Galaxy secured a spot in the MLS playoffs, a somewhat unfocused star team lost to the scoreless Vancouver by 3-4. More focus was focused on the fact that "only" one of the team's goals came from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The goal, a well-aimed shot from a few meters away, was not the best in Sweden for the season, but can be important when the basic series is to be summed up in a week. Zlatan has thus scored six goals in the last four league matches, and has now sailed up 29 goals in total. However, he would have needed further networking to be really close to Carlos Vela, who has scored 31 goals.

Ibrahimovic showed several times that he was craving more goals against Vancouver and looked frustrated when teammate Uriel Antuna put 2-2 in a position where he could fit a more laid back Zlatan. The Swede, however, was no more disappointed than that in the final minutes he was able to nicely nick the ball to Chris Pontius who put 3-3.

In the final round, on Sunday, La Galaxy plays away against Houston. There, the Swede needs to score at least two goals in order to come up with a split shooting profit as LAFC's Carlos Vela scored his 31st goal tonight and thus keeps the lead down to Ibrahimovic.
