Having won the World Cup in Qatar with a score of 2.04 m, Russian Maria Lasitskene became the first three-time world champion in high jumps in history. Also, the athlete won the world championships in 2015 in Beijing and in 2017 in London.
In Qatar, Lasitsken, like other Russian athletes, plays in neutral status due to the removal of the All-Russian Athletics Federation.
