Malak appeared on social networking sites, recently, with weaving hair, wearing units shirt, to announce herself recovering from cancer, sending a message of thanks to all the Jordanian clubs that supported her during her illness, and singled out Al-Faisaly Club, the traditional rival of the units, and said in her account «Facebook»: «Praise be to God, triumphed over cancer, passed on moments when I was suffering a lot, moments were difficult to me, moments when I hate this disease and pretend, but our Lord save me from him as soon as possible, because I return to my school and my normal life with my family and companions».
For his part, member of the Association of Wihdat fans, Qusay Dawaymeh, told «Emirates Today»: «(Malak) received the support and support of the players, fans and management of the club Wehdat, who stood with her, and raised morale until she recovered, and the team players picking up with her Souvenir pictures, and took them with them in the club bus, after the crowning of the title of the Jordanian league, last year, and presented her a medal that flew with joy ».
Al-Dawaymeh explained that «(Malak) was attending the matches of the units from the stands, despite the date of the sessions of chemical doses, which I got as part of the treatment program, and was always appearing in the stadium».
