Verstappen clocked fifth time in third training session Sochi, Leclerc fastest
Max Verstappen clocked the fifth time in the third free practice for the Russian Grand Prix. The Dutchman must abort his qualification simulation because he purrs during a fast lap. As a result, he does not record time on the soft belt. Charles Leclerc is the fastest, ahead of Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. Verstappen is the only driver who has not clocked his fastest lap on soft rubber.
