LONDON (Reuters) - Bayern Munich survived a 3-2 draw at home to Paderborn and lead the Bundesliga on Saturday, taking advantage of Leipzig's first defeat of the season against Schalke 04.

Bayern, who missed several chances and shot in the net and conceded twice in the second half, came through Serge Gnabry in the 15th minute.

Gnabry made the second goal for Philippe Coutinho 10 minutes after the break, but Kay Brugger pulled one back in the 68th minute.

Robert Lewandowski hit the ball over the keeper to make it 3-1 in the 80th minute, but Jamilo Collins's superb 30-meter shot four minutes from time kept the home side's hopes alive and paved the way for a tense finish.

Bayern top the standings with 14 points, one ahead of Leipzig who Schalke joined with 13 points in third place after their fourth successive victory.
