“After the physical examination I started training”

After leaving the Belgorod colony, Alexander Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev did not lose the status of the most discussed football players in Russia. After celebrating their release after a year in custody, the sports community and fans focused on the process of returning two players convicted of hooliganism to big football.

One of the evidence of this was the publication of the head coach of the Zenit-2 Russian Champions Pharmacy Club Vladislav Radimov. The former captain of the blue-white-blue posted a joint photo on Instagram with Alexander Kokorin, accompanied by the caption “He is back!”

Radimov's post provoked a wave of rumors and speculation. The media replicated the news that by the decision of the club’s management Kokorin was assigned to the Zenit youth team, and fans of St. Petersburg and the attacker himself began to speculate on why the main team refused him.

However, these conversations aroused bewilderment of Vladislav Radimov. The mentor of the Russian champion’s pharmacy club, in an interview with RT, advised social media users and reporters not to replicate unverified information.

“First you need to check the information of who, where, with whom and when you are training,” Radimov emphasized.

Clarity was brought into the situation by Zenit CEO Alexander Medvedev. The functionary explained that the club is extremely interested in the speedy restoration of Kokorin and use all possible means and resources for this.

“After a successful medical examination, Alexander began individual training in the Zenith system. The place and time of classes is determined by the coaching staff of the main team. When it is necessary to improve Kokorin’s form, he can temporarily join Zenit-2, Sport24 quotes Medvedev.

The club’s general director also said that he was looking forward to the return of the striker on the field. This may happen in the near future. Zenit does not exclude that Kokorin will have time to get the basic form and play in one of the friendly matches scheduled for the October break, connected with the games of national teams.

Otherwise, the life of Alexander Kokorin is hidden from prying eyes. Neither the striker himself, nor his common-law spouse Darya Valitova, on their social networks advertise their lives and share the latest news from everyday life.

“Fighting off everyone so you can give me an interview”

The Mamaev couple, on the contrary, behaves socially active. So, the wife of ex-midfielder “Krasnodar” Alan decided to try herself as a journalist and personally interviewed Pavel.

Thus, the Mamaev’s conversation recorded in the apartment’s living room will be the first significant appearance of the convicted football player in the information space after his release from parole.

Mamaev has already announced the upcoming interview by posting a small video clip in social networks in which the husband admits that he followed his wife all the time that he was behind bars.

Alana’s interview with Pavel will be posted on September 30th. According to the girl herself, the family refused to communicate with many central channels and leading sports media.

“I fought off everyone for a long time so that you gave me the first interview personally. So come on ... Look at your wife, ”Alan begins her conversation.

At the same time, public activity does not yet affect the positive resolution of the situation regarding the new midfielder contract.

According to media reports, Mamaev’s attempts to continue his career in the Dynamo metropolitan area were unsuccessful. According to Sport-Express, earlier the parties came to an understanding, after which the potential newcomer was offered to undergo a mandatory medical examination.

However, the examination of Mamaev, as well as the possible signing of a contract with him, were in jeopardy due to the difficult situation in which the capital club found itself. The blue and white leadership makes a decision on a possible change of the head coach, in connection with which the issue of staffing was temporarily removed from the agenda.

However, Dynamo is not the only option for the midfielder. As it became known, along with the backup team of the capital's club, Mamaev arrived in Rostov-on-Don, where negotiations with the leadership of Rostov should be held. According to the “Championship”, the midfielder is close to signing a two-year agreement with the southerners with the option of extending for another year.

It should be noted that neither Mamaev nor Kokorin will be able to play in the RPL until the spring of the 2019/20 season. To enter them into the application for participation in official competitions, clubs will be able to only during the opening of the winter transfer window.
