The Big Tuna runner was superior and won by over 2.5 minutes on the second, Swiss promise Simona Aebersold.
- It went very well today. I did a little oblique to one of the checks at the end. There I lost maybe 20 seconds, but apart from that it was a really good race, says Alexandersson to the Swedish orienteering association.
This was the beginning of an intense racing weekend. Over the weekend, the World Cup competitions will be decided in both knock-out sprints (which will be introduced on the World Cup program next year) and sprint:
