Tokyo Olympic Torch Runner More than 530,000 entries September 26, 21:29
As for the runners of the Tokyo Olympic torch relay, each prefecture and sponsor company recruited runners and found that there were over 530,000 applications.
The Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay will start about Fukushima Prefecture on March 26 next year, and approximately 10,000 runners will run around the country by the opening ceremony on July 24.
Part of the runners were publicly recruited from mid-June to last month by four prefectures and four torch relay sponsor companies, and the tournament organizing committee put together and applied to each prefecture and sponsor company in duplicate. A total of 535,717 applications were submitted, including the amount that was made.
Of these, Hyogo Prefecture had the highest magnification among the public offerings of each prefecture, which was 224.8 times, and that in Saitama Prefecture and others, the magnification exceeded 200 times.
In the future, each prefecture and sponsor company will select the members, and the organizing committee that receives the recommendation will determine the runners.
The Organizing Committee will notify the runners by e-mail within the year after December.
In addition to the public recruitment for the torch relay runners, there are also frames that are selected by recommendations from the sponsoring companies of the tournament and the IOC = International Olympic Committee. Hmm.
