For the second year in a row, the smiths will celebrate the SM gold in place in Målilla after having finally defeated the Dackarna away.

The gold was already founded yesterday when they won the first match with a clear 54-36.

Today it never got really exciting. Blacksmiths Fredrik Lindgren and Gleb Chugunov arranged an early 4-2 lead, which the guests never let go.

When Lindgren and Chugunov drove home a fifth already in the ninth heat, up to 34-20, it was clear that the lead was inexcusable and the smiths were then able to celebrate the third straight SM gold and the club's fifth through history.

The last club in the elite series won three straight golds was 1992-1994 when the Eagles from Mariestad had a period of greatness.
