The Egyptian Sports Critics Association has sent a condemnation to FIFA's media department for choosing a journalist who does not work in the field of sports criticism and is not registered in the association, to represent Egypt in the vote to choose the best player in the world, after causing a crisis not to choose the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Solution IV.
The president of the association, Hassan Khalafallah, published the text of the letter he sent to FIFA, in which he confirmed the disappointment of the association to choose Hani Daniel, and not to choose one of its members who are professional sports journalism work and the number of 600 journalists.
Salah finished fourth with 26 points in the world rankings, behind champions Lionel Messi (46 points), runner-up Virgil van Dyck (38 points) and third-placed Cristiano Ronaldo (36 points).

Salah also lost about 10 points due to the non-adoption of the vote of former Egyptian coach Javier Aguirre and captain Ahmed Mohammedi, for the arrival of their nominations after the deadline set by FIFA, as was not signed according to press reports.
Sports critics and social media pundits launched a scathing attack on the Egyptian journalist who did not choose Salah as the best player, which Daniel justified his choice of professional.
