Junior Frida Karlsson broke big last season with three medals, one of which was gold at the Ski World Cup. The expectations of the 20-year-old are of course great for the new season.

But she will not dominate in the World Cup, at least not if you believe Therese Johaug.

- I may not think that she will have a stable shape curve weekend after weekend, all year. My own and others' experiences show that it takes some time to establish themselves at the top over a longer period. That she should be on the podium every World Cup she sets up, I think that will be difficult, says Johaug.

- By all means, she can handle it. But going from junior to senior is difficult.

Johaug himself made an incomparable comeback after the doping suspension.

She left Seefeld with three individual World Cup golds. In the World Cup she lost only one distance race.

Now the Norwegian is looking forward to a championship-free season.

- It can be a kind of free year, if you can call it that. I went through so much last season, it was such a stir, so I think it's good to take this year for what it is.
