Dubai Sports Council (DCC) has announced the awarding of "Golden Residences" to international sporting stars and visitors after coordination with the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs Dubai.
The Dubai Sports Council directed clubs and football companies to form boards for the masses to enhance the mechanisms of communication between the parties and reflected positively on the results of teams and public presence in the games.
The Dubai Council instructed the General Secretariat of Dubai Sports Council to communicate with the clubs to implement this directive.
A statement issued by the Dubai Sports Council said: “The Board of Directors reviewed the report of the Corporate Communications Department on what has been achieved within the initiative of the Sports Encouragement Platform launched by the Council in cooperation with the Dubai Police General Headquarters, with the participation of a number of clubs, media organizations and the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
The Dubai Council praised the efforts exerted to strengthen the relationship between clubs and the public and to develop mechanisms to improve the level of media services provided by the clubs and the positive role played by the public to support club teams and express their opinion in a civilized manner consistent with the traditions of society and state laws.
