AIK received IFK Gothenburg in front of just over 18,000 at the Friends Arena.

In the 19th minute, AIK got penalties after Henok Goitom went down in a duel with André Calisir. The penalty was then safely administered by Sebastian Larsson who placed it to the right of Ioannis Anestis. Shortly thereafter, AIK was close to 2-0, but Goitom's finish went close.

70 minutes into the game, André Calisir had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came Tarik Elyounossi.

Despite the red card, IFK Gothenburg created the most and in the 90th minute Hosam Aiesh had a great position, but Oskar Linnér was able to save the bicycle kick. In the final minute, Elyounossi got a huge score, but the match ended 1-0.

The result is that AIK is four points behind the series leader Djurgården.
