Wout Weghorst assisted his club VfL Wolfsburg on Monday with an assist. The home game in the Bundesliga with the Hoffenheim by trainer Alfred Schreuder ended in 1-1.

The 'Volkswagen club' was already six minutes into the game due to a goal by Sebastian Rudy.

Half an hour later, Admir Mehmedi brought the score in balance, scoring on a pass from Weghorst. The striker himself also had some chances, but failed.

Weghorst was the only Dutchman in the base at Wolfsburg. Jeffrey Bruma sat on the couch the entire game.

Because of the draw, Wolfsburg is in eighth place. The team has nine points from five games, but is still unbeaten. With Hoffenheim, Schreuder is eleventh with five points.
