With only four remaining matches of the MLS series, LA Galaxy headed north to face the endgame chasing Montreal Impact. In the 31st minute, Zlatan Ibrahimovic would crack the zero. Jonathan Dos Santos went for a Galaxy counter but the shot went no further than teammate Uriel Antuna in the penalty area.

As so many times before this season, Zlatan stood correctly and when the ball fell down in front of the right foot of the Swede there was no doubt. 1-0 to the Galaxy and Ibrahimovic's 27th goal of the season and the striker is now pinning the shooter, Carlos Vela, firmly in the neck before the closing primer matches.

Finnish receipt

But Zlatan was not the only Nordic goalkeeper in the match. 1-1, 21-year-old Finnish Lassi Lappalainen stood after a controlled nod on a fine post. But it would be Galaxy that brought home all three points to California. Just minutes after the receipt, Uriel Antuna was able to return the Galaxy lead on assist from Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Zlatan also had bids for both one and two more goals, but 2-1 stood and Galaxy climbed to third place in the Western Conference.
