According to the press service of the Equestrian Federation of Russia, in St. Petersburg, two-time Olympic champion Ivan Kizimov died. He was 91 years old.
Kizimov won the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City and 1972 in Munich. In 2003, the St. Petersburg Children and Youth School of the Olympic Reserve was named in honor of Kizimov.
