Spain's Carolina Marín , Olympic and world champion, has won the China Badminton Open by beating Taiwanese Tzu Ying Tai , world number 4 in the final, by 14-21, 21-17 and 21-18 after One hour and five minutes of play.

The title in Changzhou is the first for Marin after eight months of loss due to the rupture of the cruciate ligament of the right knee that occurred during the final of the Indonesian Masters . His official return to the tracks was ten days ago in Vietnam, but was eliminated in the first round.

Carolina Marín , once again in this tournament, was forced to come back after being clearly surpassed by Tai in the first round. The background with the Taiwanese also did not allow to be too optimistic. Tai had won seven of the eleven games played with the Spanish , including the last four.

However, the determination of the Spanish, as in the semifinal against the Japanese Toyaka Takahashi , went around the game. Marin increased the pressure on Tai and imposed on the next two sleeves clearly.
