The tennis players of Team Europe also take the lead after the second day of the Laver Cup. Captain Björn Borg's team, thanks to victories by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, is leading 7-5 against Team World.
Federer was in a supertie break on Saturday with 6-7 (5), 7-5 and 10-7 too strong for the Australian Nick Kyrgios. Nadal, who played his first game since his won US Open final, then settled in two sets with the Canadian Milos Raonic: 6-3 and 7-6 (1).
Nadal had to face a defeat in the doubles. The nineteen-time Grand Slam winner. went along with the Greek Stéfanos Tsitsipás with 4-6, 6-3 and 6-10 against Kyrgios and the American Jack Sock.
Earlier in the day, John Isner won the other World Team win against Alexander Zverev. The American service cannon beat the German with 6-7 (2), 6-4 and 10-1.

Team Europa won the first two editions
After the first day, the European team already led 3-1. On Saturday, every victory earned two points. The tournament will be closed on Sunday and each win is good for no less than three points.
On the final day there are again three singles and a doubles on the program. The team that is first on thirteen points wins the Laver Cup.
The Laver Cup, named after the Australian tennis legend Rod Laver, has been organized since 2017. The last two editions were won by Team Europe.
