Oskarshamn's advancement to SHL last season was one of the biggest sensations in Swedish hockey in many years.

However, several of the team's key players left the club after the season. One of these was goalkeeper Christoffer Rifalk.

3-2-victory

His new club address became Rögle, and he made his series debut today.

Then victory became immediate. Away to Linköping, the team won by 3–2.

Back-pressed at the end

However, it was no easy victory. Especially at the end of the match, the team was heavily relegated, but 23-year-old Rifalk stood calm and saved everything that the close Rögle defense passed through.

- There was a real pressure at the end, Rifalk notes in C More.

However, Rifalk was not completely satisfied with his first SHL match, especially Broc Little's 2–3 reduction at the beginning of the third period, where the puck went right in at the post.

- It should be close to the post, so I take it on, he says to C More, where he mostly smiled.

- This (to play in SHL) is huge. That has been the dream of a lifetime. It's great fun being a here.

"Losing momentum"

For Linköping, it was the third loss of the first four matches.

- We get off to a good start again, but then we lose momentum again in the second period, says coach Bert Robertsson.
