Mohamed Seif El Din - Cairo

Zamalek club president Mortada Mansour revealed that the Egyptian Super Cup match between Al-Ahli club and its traditional rivals Al-Ahli was presented at 7 pm instead of 8 pm local time.

"The match between Ahli and Zamalek will be played, God willing, on Friday at seven instead of eighth, led by a foreign referee from the highest level," Mansour said in a video posted on his Facebook page.

This timing coincides with the date set by the Egyptian actor and contractor Mohamed Ali to demonstrate against President Abdel Fattah El Sisi throughout Egypt.

Mohamed Ali's call received a great deal of interaction on social media, where activists launched a label entitled (# Departure_Yasisi_o_Anzol_Street), which tops the list of most traded in Egypt (Trend).

Over the past few days, a number of anti-Sisi tags have been at the forefront of social networking sites, most notably (#kafaya_bakiasi), which exceeded one million participants before it was deleted.

Sources told Al Jazeera Net that a political security meeting was held yesterday, and discussed the super match, where some preferred to postpone the preoccupation of security pre-empt potential demonstrations, and others preferred to set up to give an impression that things are going normally.

The match is scheduled to be held in the presence of a crowd of about ten thousand fans equally between the two clubs (5,000 per team), after the approval of the security authorities in the country.
