Handball legend Staffan Olsson has finished a new job. The former Swedish national team captain will work for the US handball team as a "high performance director", which can roughly be translated as sports manager, which Expressen was the first to report on.
The role means that he should:
"Overlook the direction and direction of the US national handball team, create a stream of new elite athletes and develop training programs for coaches and leaders at various levels of the sport."
Staffan Olsson himself is happy with the job.
“I really look forward to working with the players, coaches and leaders of the United States. This is a very exciting new step for me in my career, says Olsson in the press release.
