Helsingborg's Danish goalkeeper Ander Lindegaard made a powerful first half away against Djurgården. Several nice rescues made the guests still stress the home team in what eventually became a defeat for the Scouts. A defeat also for Olof Mellberg, who is new to the post as coach for Helsingborg.
Despite the loss, Mellberg is still praised by his players after the first competition match with the team.
- Every player has better control of their area of responsibility. I think his presence has been extremely positive so far, says Anders Lindegaard to SVT Sport.
Alexander Farnerud also agrees with the tributes and looks forward to continued work with Mellberg.
