When Norwich City striker Timo Buckey scored his first Premier League goal in Anfield last month, he scored a rare feat of scoring from the first attempt on goal in every of the last eight seasons.

Starting in 2012, the 29-year-old Finn scored the first goal on goal, and did so with Schalke, Celtic, Brondby and Norwich. Bucky has had a remarkable record ever since.

After five appearances for his newcomers in the Premier League, he has scored six goals and made two, while no other player has scored more goals in the competition this season.

It was no surprise that Buckeye was awarded the Premier League Player of the Year award in August, scoring three goals against Newcastle United, an achievement he did not achieve in the second division.

On Saturday, Norwich, plagued by the absence of 11 players due to injuries, helped them to a 3-2 win over champions Manchester City after scoring one goal and making another.

With clubs tightly monitoring Bockey, the dangerous scorer managed to distract City defender Kyle Walker and grabbed the attention of goalkeeper Ederson before making the goal for winger Todd Cantwell, who touched the ball into the empty net and scored effortlessly.

With defenders focused on limiting Bockey's risk of being watched by more than one player, it allows the rest of the players to emerge as well, and nothing has benefited more than Cantwell, who won two decisive passes from Chelsea and Manchester City.

Bockey has 29 goals in the second division for the season's top scorer and he has contributed significantly to Norwich's 93 goals last season.

Norwich's order in the new season has not been kind to the team, having played three games against the "Big Six" in the first five rounds of the season, losing to Liverpool and Chelsea before the surprise and ending a series of 18 games for the city unbeaten in the league.

But Farka's attacking style helped Bucky to shine against the big boys, scoring three goals and making two goals during those encounters.

"This is a great start," said Bockey, the league's second highest scorer. "I was confident I could score at this high level, but by scoring against all the big teams, I didn't expect that."
