Due to the fact that there have been many late tackles with high injury risk, a new rule was introduced called "late hit", which means that as soon as a player gets rid of the puck he is not tacky.

Albin Grewe thus became the first to be awarded this expulsion in the middle of the premiere match at home against Linköping.

The first point of the super talent

Alexander Holtz is regarded as one of Sweden's greatest talents in modern times and got the chance to present himself during three matches in SHL last year. Today, his first point came at the senior level when he stood for a strong and fine preliminary work to Michael Haga's 1-1.

Another who was pleased to be noted in the minutes was Djurgården's Manuel Ågren. Due to an unusual liver disease, he missed almost the entire last season. After Linköping again took the lead, it was Ågren who stood 2-2 after a fine solo performance.

- It turned black when I scored, I was so happy. I've been fighting hard for this, Grewe tells C more.

"Can hardly take us into the attack zone"

Djurgården turned two disadvantages to the lead at the end of the third period and despite the disadvantage, Linköping managed to only fire three shots on goal in the final act. Linus Hultström punctured the match with his 4-2 goal ten minutes from the end.

- We hardly get into the attack zone and we lose a lot of drawings. Djurgården is doing well but I think we should be able to fix it, says Linköping's coach Bert Robertsson to C more and continues:

- Djurgården does a lot of skating and then we can't stop skating. The drawings, we do not win them in the third period, all the fighting moments are something we lose the longer the match goes.
