The differences in conditions and the financial compensation between men and women's hockey players is an ongoing debate.

Luleå player Robin Kovács, who lives with SDHL player Minatsu Murase, thinks the conditions are unfair.

- The women's hockey has become much better than it was several years ago. They must have the same conditions as the gentlemen. They spend even more time than we do when they have to plug and work side by side. They have more things to sacrifice than we actually have, ”he tells SVT Sport.

What do you think about it then?

- It's bad, absolutely. There, I especially think that Luleå as an association has done very well and taken it seriously. They have produced the women's hockey in a good way.

"Once you've checked, you're stuck"

The prejudices against the women's hockey are many - but that is where Kovács comes from.

- They first have to sit down and watch a match. If you look at the top players and the top matches then it is good ice hockey. Once you have checked, you are stuck.
