Several heavy injuries and two straight crosses in the league have made the headlines surrounding Real Madrid in recent times have been negative.

But in Saturday's early home meeting with Levante, the metropolitan team received a nice shape message. One can especially thank Karim Benzema for that.

The Frenchman has opened the season strongly, and continued to score today. In the 25th minute, Benzema went up between two Levante runs and tied 1-0.

League debut for Hazard

Five minutes later, the 31-year-old striker returned and made his fourth goal, nicely forwarded by James Rodriguez, back in Madrid after a two-year loan deal at Bayern Munich. Before the half ended, Real also managed to make it 3-0 through Casemiro after a beautiful counter-attack.

Early in the second half Borja Mayoral, loaned from Real, reduced Levante. The away team also went 3-2 in the 75th minute after a header from Gonzalo Melero, but didn't get any closer, although chances were lacking.

After 60 minutes of play, Eden Hazard made league debut for Real Madrid, after missing the season start due to injury.
